“That every woman in the church know Christ personally and be committed to extending His Kingdom in her life, home, church, community, and throughout the world.”
A few ministry opportunities for women in the life of Heartland are as follows:
WEDNESDAY MORNING BIBLE STUDIES (9-11AM)
This is a Bible study group that meets on Wednesday mornings in the Church Library to grow in our knowledge and application of the Bible. Our studies vary each year, but most recently we have been studying the big picture story of the Bible (Garden to Glory).Women from all backgrounds are encouraged to join us!

This group meets Wednesday morning in the home of Kathy Morris near Andover. The purpose of the group is to be a place for fellowship, digging deep into the Scripture, and applying it to our lives.

FALL RETREAT & SPRING CONFERENCE
Two special weekends of excellent Biblical teaching, meaningful worship, and sweet fellowship with one another and God are planned each year. In the fall, the retreat is focused on restful reflection, testimonies, and fellowship. For the conference in the spring, a speaker is usually brought in for a more focused teaching time.

At least twice each year, ladies’ gatherings are planned to encourage fellowship, fun, and inspiration. These are for Heartland women and their friends outside the church. Past fellowships have included book reviews, tea time, testimonies, music presentations, Bible study previews, biography night, etc.
YOUNG MOM'S EVENTS
Throughout the year our women also plan various events to promote friendship and fellowship among our new and young moms as well. We have had zoo days, Valentine's day parties, and various other events as well.
